A Mild Afternoon

Late afternoon ride with S. and R. Started at the Bastille, rode around the Stadia, and east along the Allegheny River. Crossed the 40th Street Bridge, took a run over to Love Bikes just to show my compadres where it is, and then we went back to the river to see the mini-segment of trail under the 40th Street Bridge (it's very nice).

Took Butler and Penn into the Strip District. We hoped to stop at Enrico Biscotti Company for a treat but they had closed, then we went around the corner to La Prima Espresso for a jolt of espresso but they were closed, then we realized the trend and shoved off.

Joined the Strip Trail by the Seagate building, round to Point State Park, the Ft. Duquesne Bridge, and back to the Bastille. A very nice ride, 18 miles.
